This Privacy Notice for Techup AI (doing business as Answera Voice) ("we," "us," or "our") describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and share your personal information when you use our services, including when you visit answeravoice.com or interact with our AI voice agent products.

1. What Information Do We Collect?

Personal information you provide to us. We collect information you voluntarily provide when you register, make a purchase, or contact us, including:

  • Names
  • Email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Usernames and passwords
  • Contact or authentication data
  • Voice call recordings and transcripts
  • Caller information collected during AI voice agent calls

Sensitive information. We do not process sensitive personal information such as racial or ethnic origins, religious beliefs, or health data.

Payment data. All payment information is handled and stored by Mastercard Payment Gateway Services (MPGS). We do not store your card details. You can review their privacy notice at mastercard.com/us/en/global-privacy-notice.html.

Social media login data. If you register using a social media account (e.g. Google), we receive certain profile information such as your name and email address. Use of Google API data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Information from other sources. We may receive limited data from public databases, marketing partners, and social media platforms to support marketing and service delivery.

2. How Do We Process Your Information?

We process your information to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Process payments and fulfil your subscription
  • Deliver and operate the AI voice agent service
  • Generate call summaries and transcripts for your dashboard
  • Send service-related communications (e.g. plan expiry notices)
  • Respond to enquiries and provide support
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud
  • Improve and develop our Services

3. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Information?

We share information with the following categories of third parties to deliver our Services:

  • Retell AI — processes voice call audio and generates transcripts
  • OpenAI — receives call transcripts to generate AI-powered call summaries
  • Google — used for calendar booking integrations
  • Twilio — provides phone number infrastructure for the phone agent
  • Supabase — stores account, subscription, and call data
  • Vercel — hosts the application
  • MPGS (Mastercard) — processes payments

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Do We Offer AI-Based Products?

Yes. Our core service is an AI voice agent powered by Retell AI and OpenAI. These systems:

  • Conduct live voice conversations with callers on behalf of businesses
  • Transcribe call audio into text
  • Generate call summaries using large language models
  • Book appointments via Google Calendar integration

Call audio and transcripts are shared with Retell AI and OpenAI solely for the purpose of delivering these features. We do not use your call data to train AI models.

5. How Do We Handle Your Social Logins?

If you register or log in using a social media account, we receive certain profile information from that provider (such as your name and email address). This information is used only to create and manage your account. We do not store your social media credentials, and your use of social login is subject to the privacy policy of the respective provider.

6. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription and for a reasonable period thereafter. Call recordings and transcripts are retained for up to 30 days. Payment transaction records may be retained longer to meet legal and financial compliance requirements.

7. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data storage (Supabase), HTTPS-only data transmission, access controls, and secure third-party infrastructure (Vercel). However, no electronic transmission or storage system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the Services at your own risk.

8. Do We Collect Information From Minors?

No. Our Services are directed at businesses and business owners and are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at hello@answeravoice.com and we will take steps to delete it promptly.

9. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Object to or restrict our processing of your information
  • Data portability

10. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature. We do not currently respond to DNT browser signals as there is no uniform standard for how DNT signals should be interpreted. If a standard is adopted in the future, we will update this notice accordingly.

11. Do United States Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or another US state with applicable privacy legislation, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of your data.

We do not sell personal information. We do not process 10 million or more California residents' data annually. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.

12. Call Recording and AI Processing

When you interact with an AI voice agent powered by Answera Voice — whether via phone or a website widget — your call may be recorded and transcribed. These recordings are processed by our AI service providers (Retell AI and OpenAI) solely to operate the voice agent, generate call summaries, and improve service quality.

Call data is retained for up to 30 days and is never sold.

If you are a caller interacting with a business's AI agent, you may contact that business directly to request deletion of your call data, or contact us at hello@answeravoice.com.

13. Do We Make Updates to This Notice?

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We will notify you of any material changes before they take effect. We encourage you to review this notice periodically.
